Pungent Stench arrived with \u0093For God Your Soul\u0085 For Me Your Flesh\u0094, a debut that smashed Death Metal and early Grindcore together into a sound that sounded like a cross between Obituary and Terrorizer!<\/p>\n
What makes this record stand out is its total rejection of finesse. No melody. No clean lines. No attempt at showing off. Just a filthy, hostile churn of riffs that somehow stick in your skull long after the noise dies down.
