For the first time ever, a salacious selection of EDGE OF SANITY’s obscure, earliest recordings are available officially. Titled \u0093Elegy – Chapter I\u0094, the band\u0092s early (promo, rehearsal or studio) demos \u0093Euthanasia\u0094 (1989), \u0093The Immortal Rehearsals\u0094 (1990), \u0093kur-nu-gi-a\u0094 (1990), \u0093The Dead\u0094 (1990) and \u0093Dead But Dreaming\u0094 (1991) were hearsed from the cemetary to the mortuary for reanimation by songwriter\/frontman\/producer Dan Swan\u00f6 (Opeth, Dissection, Bloodbath).<\/p>\n

Featuring a brand-new, hand-drawn cover by visual artist Mark Rudolph (Carcass, Undeath), \u0093Elegy – Chapter I\u0094 is by the old guard for all guards to relive or unearth afresh. EDGE OF SANITY weren\u0092t always on the bleeding edge of death metal. No, on \u0093Elegy – Chapter I\u0094 the Swedes actually bled death metal. This is a collection of underground old school Swedish death metal at its best!<\/p>\n

All five demos have been remastered by Swan\u00f6, with the 13 tracks of \u0093Euthanasia\u0094, \u0093kur-nu-gi-a\u0094 and \u0093The Dead\u0094.<\/p>\n
