Colombia’s death metal legion OSSUARY’s first two full-length albums, “A Morbid Lust for Death” and “Buried and Forgotten,” were reborn in decay! OSSUARY emerged in 2012 with a strong passion for old-school death metal. In twelve years, they have launched four full-length albums, with themes focused on death, horror, and lust that change over time.

Behind the distant foundations of human sanity, an infinite sea of madness, despair, and lust takes shape. The most archaic desires deny the project of humanity. Voluptuousness and the insatiable urge for death can be materialized in a satirical work, such as “A Morbid Lust for Death.”

This album includes the first years of the band’s composition in its soundscape, which allows the listener to get closer to the original sound influenced by the most classic Death Metal on the world scene. Regarding the lyrics, the interest in offering tribute to the pain, anguish, and nausea of an existence marked under the sign of death is notable, the transit of which becomes perversion and lasciviousness. It may be that these qualities of the nefarious are the experience closest to the last threshold. Perhaps orgasm and cessation of vitality are not so different.
