“Into the Horrible Depths,” the latest full-length from CADAVER SHRINE, delivering a suffocating mix of old-school death metal and doom-laden darkness. Formed by Maurice de Jong (Gnaw Their Tongues, The Sombre, Cloak of Altering), the band channels the primal brutality of Bolt Thrower, Asphyx, and Autopsy, offering a relentless onslaught of cavernous riffs, thunderous drums, and guttural, charnel-house vocals.

With a crushing and oppressive atmosphere, “Into the Horrible Depths” builds upon the foundation set by their debut, “Benighted Desecration,” delving even further into bleak, funeral-paced death-doom. Expect an ultra-heavy, rumbling soundscape that drags the listener into the abyss, where only decay and despair remain.

The album’s haunting and morbid artwork was designed by Nether Temple Design, further immersing the listener into the album’s grim and oppressive world.
